Our Mission

TO PRESERVE LIFE and PROPERTY

Ensuring and protecting the public's safety is our primary concern. The public's trust is vital to the successful operation of the Volente Fire Department. It is important that our department provides more than just emergency response. Our goal is to provide services that add value for our community.

Community Warning Siren
The Fire Department has re-purposed  our old fire fighter alerting siren to a Community Warning Siren. We will use the siren to alert the community about wildland fires that threaten the immediate area, severe inclement weather, such as tornado's and other significant events.
If you hear the siren, turn on your radio, TV, check your smart phone, PC for additional emergency information.  We will test the siren on the first Sat
 
Burn Ban - Travis County is under a Burn Ban effective June 7, 2022
